Aaron Judge: The Man-Child

Aaron Judge: The Man-Child

BRENNEN CREER

Aaron Judge is a beast, a complete Man-Child. He stands at a ridiculous 6'7 and weighs in at 282 pounds.

Wait, 282 pounds...? That's 128 pounds heavier than MMA star Connor McGregor, 42 pounds heavier than Mike Tyson (when he was the heavyweight champion of the world), and 32 pounds heavier than LeBron James. He's a physical specimen sent straight to the Yankees from the baseball Gods. And oh yeah - he's a rookie, and he's only 25 years old.

Judge was just named to the American League All-Star squad AND was crowned the 2017 Home Run Derby Champ. Not only was he the only rookie to ever win the derby outright, he also launched a total of 47 bombs during the event, including a towering shot that went 513 feet. The home run derby isn't the only place Judge has left his mark on home run legacy. He's already hammered 30 home runs this year before the All-Star break, and in case you didn't know, 30 is enough to pass the New York Yankees legend, Joe Dimaggio, for the most home runs in a season as a rookie in Yankees history - and Judge did this all before the All-Star break.

Dimaggio isn't the only baseball legend that Aaron Judge is being compared to.  Hopefully unlike 'Smalls' from the Sandlot, you are familiar with the most iconic baseball player of all time... The Sultan of Swat, The King of Crash, The Colossus of Clout - The GREAT BAMBINO. Yes, Aaron Judge is drawing comparisons to Babe Ruth.

As you can see, Aaron Judge has had himself quite the rookie season so far. I'm sure Yankees fans are thrilled with the potential this young prospect yields. The kid's a highlight reel. He's bringing excitement back to America's pastime. I have high hopes for the humble slugger, he deserves it.

Many people probably don't know that when Judge was 10 years old, he found out that his parents weren't actually his biological parents - he was adopted.  He recalls, "I knew I didn't look like them." This didn't stop Judge from developing a strong relationship with his adoptive parents as he still calls them daily. He's an extremely hardworking kid who has a bright future.

Exactly how bright is the future for Aaron? You be the Judge.

If you're up for a laugh, check out the prank Aaron Judge pulled by asking fans what they thought about him, Aaron Judge...
