Intriguing Week 10 NCAA Football Matchups and Week 9 Recap

Intriguing Week 10 NCAA Football Matchups and Week 9 Recap

What another great weekend of College Football!

The week started with a tight game between #20 Stanford and Oregon State. The Beavers fumbled late and Stanford capitalized to win 15-14 in the final seconds.

It’s been a long time since we talked about FSU vs. Alabama to open the season. Now, after their 35-3 loss to BC the Seminoles are now 2-5 and may not be bowl eligible without a turnaround.

#25 Iowa State took down #4 TCU 14-7 and #3 Georgia pummeled Florida 42-7.

#9 Notre Dame looks strong against a good #14 NC State team.

But the big game was #2 Penn State at #6 Ohio State. The Buckeyes went on a 19-3 fourth quarter run to comeback and beat Penn State 39-38.

Week 10 has some great potential to be action packed. Be sure to check out these games:

#7 Penn State vs. #24 Michigan State

Saturday, November 4th 12:00 ET

With Michigan State falling in OT and Penn State losing on the road by 1 to Ohio State both teams need a win to rebound their season. Look for Penn State to be on fire and we’ll likely see Barkley running all over the Spartans after being bottled up this past week.

#16 Auburn vs. Texas A&M

Saturday, November 4th 12:00 ET

Auburn will have their hands full as they go into College Station to take on the Aggies. Both teams need a win to stay in contention in the SEC. Auburn should be able to take care of business, but A&M won’t make it easy.

South Carolina vs. #2 Georgia

Saturday, November 4th 3:30 ET

It’s no secret these teams don’t like each other. Although Georgia dominates this rivalry (49-18-2) a lower ranked SC team has beat a higher ranked Georgia squad several times in the past. But after watching how Georgia dismantled Florida by 35 a lot will have to happen for the Gamecocks to come out on top.

#8 Oklahoma vs. #11 Oklahoma State

Saturday, November 4th 4:00 ET

This instate rivalry will be in full swing this weekend as the Sooners look to continue their climb back up to the top but will face a tough Cowboy team ready for the task of containing Baker Mayfield. Both teams at 7-1 sit tied in the Big 12 conference and want to ruin the season for the other.

#19 LSU vs. #1 Alabama

Saturday, November 4th 8:00 ET

Although LSU hasn’t had quite the season they had hoped, they are still 6-2 and with a couple wins they would be in contention in the SEC West. But first, they’ll need to get through #1 team in the nation. Alabama had a bye week and will be ready for the Tigers at home.

#13 Virginia Tech vs. #9 Miami

Saturday, November 4th 8:00 ET

At 7-0, the Miami Hurricanes have slowly climbed the rankings without much notice. But if they can take care of business against Virginia Tech, you had better believe they will be discussed. The Hurricanes need to be careful not to look past VT to their 11/11 game versus #5 Notre Dame.
