Intriguing Week 13 NCAA Football Matchups and Week 12 Recap

Much less movement in the Top 10 this week with all teams winning relatively easy.

With a quiet week, the big upset of the weekend was Kansas State over #13 Oklahoma State.

Now a weekend of rivalries is coming up and there is bound to be some changes in the top 25.

Let’s take a look at what’s in store for Week 13:

#9 Ohio State vs. #24 Michigan

Now with 3 loses, Michigan can feel better about their season if they can ruin the Buckeye’s chances at the College Football Playoffs. #9 Ohio State has won the last 5 matchups with the “team up north” and needs a win both on this Saturday and in the Big Ten Championship against Wisconsin to strengthen their story.

#1 Alabama vs. #6 Auburn

The Iron Bowl is the big game this Saturday. Alabama will look to close out the season with a victory but Auburn is hoping they can steal a win at home to secure a spot in the top 4. The last time Auburn won (2013) was on a missed field goal return for 108 yards. This should be as thrilling as the 2013 matchup with both teams attempting to make the CFP.

#8 Notre Dame vs. #22 Stanford

Saturday, November 25th 8:00 EST

Although Notre Dame is sitting on the outside looking in, this game has major implications in the Pac 12. With a win, Stanford would be a top of the Pac 12 North. Notre Dame can stay in the playoff hunt, but will likely be outside of the top 4 teams.

#14 Washington State vs. #18 Washington

Saturday, November 25th 8:00 EST

Whichever team wins this will need a Stanford loss to be the top team in the Pac 12 North. Four wins in the last 4 years for Washington with a 5th in site. Depending on which Washington State team shows up, this could be a great in-state battle. The Pac-12 is tight and this game is key to the outcome of the season.
